Relocating your family and your life is a big deal!
Moving can be stressful and worrisome, especially when you want to be sure you have found the right place to call home. It is important to know the school system you will be integrated into, the businesses around that can employ you and yours, and your entertainment and extracurricular options! With this area being the 14th fastest-growing metropolitan area in the nation, with over 30 people relocating here every day, it begs the question, Why NWA?
For starters, the school system is outstanding.
There are many districts to choose from and there are also school choice programs that provide alternatives to parents who do not wish to send their children to the local public schools to which they are assigned. Public school choice options include open enrollment policies, magnet schools, and charter schools. Honestly, choosing a school here can be more difficult simply because they are all so great it is hard to choose, as NWA is home to five of the top 10 best high schools in Arkansas. Many of the teachers in NWA have received nationally acclaimed awards and the schools are simply held to a higher standard as many of them are Diamond Schools To Watch! At least when you relocate to NWA the only real problem with the schools is having a hard time choosing which awesome school to attend!
Many of our new neighbors in NWA moved here for employment reasons.
That isn’t hard to believe considering NWA is home to the world headquarters of JB Hunt, Tyson Foods, and the retail king itself, Walmart. There are more job options and opportunities here in this metropolitan corner of the state than almost anywhere else in the nation! There are also many accredited child-care/entertainment options like the Boys and Girls Club and The Jones Center, for starters. Places like The Jones Center are wonderful to help develop your child in the best way, whether they love art, books, or prefer their hobbies to be centered outdoors. Outside of the major businesses in this area, there are a plethora of local shops, malls, call centers, and restaurants for employment opportunities. Around every corner there is an opportunity to do better than you have and find a job that you love!
So many people move to NWA every day that the housing market is positively booming. There are many options for housing in NWA; everything from homes to apartments, including sustainable living facilities and townhomes are available for rent or sale. There is land to be bought, and more homes being built every day to keep up with the rising population of people that have found NWA to be the best option for themselves, their family, and their business. Due to the rapid growth, one has to think fast when purchasing a home in NWA! Luckily that quick thinking doesn’t mean poor choices are made, since all of NWA is a great place to reside. Home’s with a dock and lakefront view are aplenty, as well as homes at the end of a dirt road that are a little separated from the rest of the world, if that is something that you and yours prefer. You could take either of those options, or choose to live right in town, and with the highway developing as it is, the easy commute could be a prime factor in your relocation decisions.
When relocating, the vital tasks of finding a home, a school, and a job, come first.
The extracurricular options come after, luckily there is no room for disappointment there, as there is a plethora of hobbies to get into in NWA. If art is your fancy, there are world-renowned museums like Crystal Bridges Museum Of American Art in Bentonville, and arts and crafts fairs strewn through the metropolitan area annually, as well. If history is your forte, you will be happy to find many historical museums and sights through the cities of NWA, such as the Pea Ridge Military Museum and Park, the Native American History Museum, and more. A little known fact of NWA, is that the historic Trail of Tears goes all the way through the metropolitan area! If hiking and biking are a hobby of yours, or nature walks and camping are things you love to do in your extra time, NWA has you covered. Rock-climbing and trampolines are your child’s favorite pastimes? NWA has you covered. There is no shortage in artistic and natural beauty or entertainment in the NWA Metro area, and that alone could convince some to make this their home!
When you live in an area that has such a wide range of choices for your home, your career, your interests, and your business endeavours, it is hard to imagine living anywhere else. If you are anywhere else and thinking of relocating, the question “Why NWA?” should be one of the first had! The answers are unending, the potential unyielding. NWA is one of the fastest growing areas in the nation for good reason. Here you can find art, nature, beauty, education, fun, work, love, stability, comradery, support, and happiness, all in one metropolitan area.
